On May 13, 2025, HIKROBOT hosted its highly anticipated 2025 Machine Vision Product Launch and Technology Exchange Conference in Shenzhen, marking the ninth consecutive year of groundbreaking innovations in machine vision. Zhang Wencong , Vice President of HIKROBOT, opened the conference by addressing the current landscape of machine vision. Zhang Zhenhua , Director of the Standard Product Line, unveiled the third-generation CT Series industrial cameras , which offer a scalable platform with advanced architecture, richer software features, and adaptable expansion options. The cameras are available in Mini, Base, Pro , and Max versions, with Pro and Max integrating multispectral fusion , precision thermal control , and IP67 protection for versatile industrial scenarios.
HIKROBOT also released an upgraded dome-light 2.5D vision system for enhanced reflectivity suppression, along with high-resolution and high-speed cameras to meet the growing demands in display panels, semiconductors , and battery manufacturing .

Hu Zhigang , Director of Smart Products, highlighted HIKROBOT’s comprehensive AI strategy, which integrates AI across the full lifecycle—from data collection and labeling to training and deployment. The company has developed general-purpose vision foundation models for image segmentation, object detection, OCR, and barcode reading, along with scenario-specific models and edge-learning algorithms .

3D Vision: Seeing the Future in Depth

Wang Chunmao , Director of the 3D Product Line, announced a comprehensive expansion of the RGBD stereo camera range with multiple technical architectures, including laser galvo , line scan structured light , and projected structured light . These systems now span Ultra-resolution, Turbo anti-light interference, DPS compact models , and specialized welding variants .
The accompanying RP V2.2 robotic guidance platform brings visual debugging and functional enhancements, while the DP series of 3D laser profilers has inherited key improvements from the DP4000 to ensure higher image quality, frame rates, and usability.
Additionally, the upgraded VM 3D algorithm platform boosts memory efficiency and algorithm performance to support precision measurement needs across industries.
Eye–Foot–Hand Collaboration: Towards Smart Industry
For the first time, the event seamlessly integrated a technology exchange with the product launch. Sun Yuandong , VP of HIKROBOT, introduced the concept of “vision-control integration ,” where robotic systems embed visual functions and vice versa, enabled by HIKROBOT’s deep capabilities in hardware, software, and algorithms.
